Upgrade your customers to Windows Small Business Server (Windows SBS) 2008 or Windows Essential Business Server (Windows EBS) 2008 using Solutions Pathway. Boost your margins or pass the savings along to your customers while you supply improved server infrastructure. Small Business Specialists and Networking Infrastructure Solutions partners can save an additional 10 percent.

Help your customers easily upgrade or migrate from their existing solutions as their business needs change. Solutions Pathway, an exclusive program for Windows Essential Server Solutions partners and customers, provides tiered savings that enable you to develop new revenue streams when you help customers upgrade or migrate from their existing solutions to meet changing business needs. Leverage your customers’ existing investments —and help them cost effectively make the transition to the latest Windows Essential Server Solutions offerings.
How It Works
With Solutions Pathway, customers can upgrade or migrate from an existing solution to Windows Small Business Server (Windows SBS) 2008 or Windows Essential Business Server (Windows EBS) 2008. They can upgrade or migrate within the Windows Essential Server Solutions family. Or they can make the transition to a custom solution based on stand-alone server products. Tiered savings apply to any supported scenario and are based on whether the migration is into, within, or out of the Windows Essential Server Solution family of products.
You can easily obtain licenses online. Visit the Solutions Pathway site and enter a current 25-character product key (5×5 key). The system will automatically validate and recognize the associated product and will then provide the available migration paths. It will also automatically calculate the appropriate savings depending on the changes your customer wants to make.
After this process is complete, the software installation media (server and client access licenses) will be shipped.
Savings
Customers and partners can receive savings of 20 or 30 percent, depending on the scenario. Small Business Specialists (SBSC) and Networking Infrastructure Solutions (NI) partners are eligible to receive an additional 10 percent savings.

Build Applications, Revenue, and Customer Trust.
In this fast-tracked world, you need a flexible, fast, and secure browser. One with developer tools to help you build applications quickly and deploy them reliably. Designed to work seamlessly with other browsers. Develop once, render always—that’s the Internet Explorer 8 mantra, and it means that you can save time and money writing applications for Web-wide deployment.
With the special features of Internet Explorer 8, like Web Slices and Accelerators, you can extend your presence and brand, and create more services opportunities for your businesses. That’s right—the browser might be free, but it can make you money. Find out more about these opportunities for partners.
And it can help you build trust in your business. Because almost everyone using the Internet is at least a little bit worried. About viruses and worms. About spying. About identity theft. That’s why unique features like InPrivate browsing and SmartScreen filter can help you convince your customers that they’re in good hands with your Microsoft-based browser solutions. Stability features like automatic crash recovery build credibility, too.
